Every year thousands of healthy dogs end up in dog pounds through no fault of their own, these dogs if not quickly reunited with their owners may be destroyed within a matter of days for no other reason than the pounds have no room for them. This is where rescues come in; every day dog rescues all over the country rescue dogs from pound death rows and care for these dogs until loving new homes can be found for them. By adopting a rescue dog you are giving it a second chance, a chance to enjoy a happy life in a loving environment - something it may never have known. Also, every dog adopted from us gives us room in our kennels or with our fosterers to rescue more dogs and save more lives. Adopting a dog can be both a challenging and a rewarding experience. Many of these dogs have not known a loving home for some time, some never have. Winning the trust and affection of these dogs can take time and patience but having that dog return your love, seeing it grow and flourish in its loving new home is incredibly rewarding. |
